Short Films

Most photographers will inevitably try their hand at video and filmmakers will inevitably try photography. I took some time at the beginning of the week to put a short movie together. I really would like to attempt more in the near future, hopefully on a bigger scale. It's wonderful to have another way to share how I see the world around me. Video can sometimes reach a depth that a photograph might not be able to.

Last month I was lucky enough to meet and work with a talented Chicago designer, Katie Conway. At the moment she is primarily web based. Her lovely dresses and skirts can be purchased through her Etsy shop.

Artist Statement


There is a certain calm and beautiful elegance in the world. Sometimes we really have to look for it, but it is there. I'm someone who looks for it every single day. These things should be captured for everyone to cherish. When I really think about my work I can see two separate categories: Fashion and life. Although there are separate meanings behind these bodies of work, the two “categories” merge and blend stylistically. The same person is looking at both, with the same mind and the same heart. 

Hello Everyone,

I've made the decision to start this blog so that I could have a place to share and document the progress of my work, for others as well as for myself. It's normal for a photographer to create hundreds of images on any given shoot, we as the viewer rarely get to see beyond the select few that are ultimately chosen. This is a blog for me to post and view my own results, but also to share the influences and resources that help to shape and inspire my work.
